In short: we use a handful of first-party cookies to keep you signed in, remember your settings and see which site sent you. We do not run advertising cookies. Third-party tools only set their own cookies on their own pages, or when they are enabled.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small piece of text a website saves in your browser and reads back on later visits. Browsers also offer local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way but are never sent to our server. This page covers all three.
2. Cookies we set
| Name | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
better-auth.session_token | Keeps you signed in. Without it you cannot generate videos. | Until you sign out or the session expires |
better-auth.session_data | A short-lived copy of your session so pages load faster | Up to 1 hour |
PARAGLIDE_LOCALE | Remembers the site language | About 400 days |
signup_attribution | Records the site, campaign tags and first page that brought you here, so we can see which channels work. It is attached to your account only if you sign up. | 30 days |
sidebar_state | Remembers whether the sidebar in your account area is open | 7 days |
On the live site the session cookies may carry a __Secure- prefix. They are marked HttpOnly, so scripts on the page cannot read them.
3. Browser storage we use
| Key | Type | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
theme | Local storage | Remembers light or dark mode |
bb-workbench-draft | Session storage | Holds the photo you picked while you sign in or buy credits, so you do not have to upload it again. It stays in your browser tab and is deleted as soon as it is restored. |
4. Third parties
- Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout and billing pages to process payments and prevent fraud.
- Google sets its own cookies on its sign-in pages if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Analytics (Plausible, Google Analytics or Microsoft Clarity) runs only if it is enabled on the site. Plausible does not use cookies; the others may set their own analytics cookies.
We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
5. Managing cookies
You can view and delete cookies in your browser settings, or block them altogether. If you block the session cookies you will not be able to sign in or generate videos; everything else keeps working. Clearing site data for drakeburningbridgesai.com removes all the items listed above.
6. Changes and contact
When we add or remove a cookie, we update this page and its date. Questions: contact us.
